Living up to 40 years, you can imagine this species get pretty big. As the largest variety of tuna, the bluefin are built like torpedoes and built for speed. From the moment they hatch they are tremendous predators with retractable fins and eyes set flush to their body. Seeking out schools of fish like Herring, mackerel, and even eels swim in fear from this bony fish with incredible vision! The Atlantic bluefin is any Fishermans dream when it comes to a great tasting and high action fighting fish.
